Abstract
Introduction: Cases of sexual violence against children remain a serious problem and have long been a hot topic of discussion both nationally and internationally. Children are more vulnerable to becoming victims of sexual violence because they generally lack the knowledge to understand the importance of protecting their bodies. The high number of sexual violence cases against children highlights the importance of educational media as a tool for preventing sexual violence against children. Purpose: This study aims to analysed the effectiveness of Cinnamoroll dolls as an educational for preventing sexual violence among preschool children. Method: This study used a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-post-test design. The study involved 64 students from Pertiwi Grantung Kindergarten as respondents. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests and analysed using the Paired T-Test with a significance level of α = 0.05. Results: The results of the data show an average pre-test score of 20.55 and an average post-test score of 36.48, with a difference of 15.93 with a significance value of 0.000 (p-value < 0.05). Conclusions: This study conclude that Cinnamoroll dolls have a significant impact as an educational for preventing sexual violence by increasing knowledge levels in preschool children. Recommendation: Kindergarten teachers are advised to conduct sex education programs using dolls for students and parents in collaboration with local community nurses as sex education providers.
