Abstract

Background: Growth and development in newborns is very important, growth is a part of the body that functions and body tools are achieved by learning or stimulation. Assistance of children in achieving optimal growth and development can be done by detecting and stimulating children. Objective: To determine the effect of Timmy Time Exercise on the motor development of infants lifting their heads. Literature review: motor parts are divided into 2, namely gross and fine, this motor is part of the process of monitoring baby's growth and development, and can be stimulated. The research methodology uses a quasi-experimental type of research, the research design uses a pre and post test approach with a control group design. The results of the study using the Wilcoxon Test with a p value of <0.05, which means H0 is rejected, which means that there is an effect of the treatment group on the ability to hold the head in the prone position for a long time in infants. Then a different test was carried out using the Mann-Withey Test with the interpretation of the p value < 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected, which means that there is a difference in influence between the treatment and control groups. The conclusion is that there is an influence between Tummy Time Exercise on the Motor Development of Infants in Lifting the Head at the Age of 3 months.
