Abstract

The menu process is the gradual loss of the network's ability to repair itself or replace and maintain normal function so that it cannot survive. The physical decline that occurs in the elderly is the deterioration of the cardiovascular system and common cardiovascular disease in the elderly is hypertension. Tera gymnastics can improve and improve heart function and blood circulation and control hypertension or blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to determine blood pressure before and before applying tera gymnastics to blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Technical Implementation Unit of the Tresna Werdha Natar Social Institution Service. South Lampung. The research method used is a quasi experimental design with the research design used is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design for the elderly with hypertension. The results of the study on blood pressure movements after tera exercise for 5 days in group (X) found the lowest blood pressure was 130/95 mmHg and the highest was 140/90 mmHg, while in group (Y) the lowest blood pressure was 150/95 mmHg and the highest blood pressure 160/95 mmhg The conclusion in this study was that there was a decrease in average blood pressure of 140/90 mmHg in the elderly with hypertension after 5 days of applying exercise tera. blood in the elderly with hypertension.
