Perception of Nursing Academy Students of The Covid-19 Vaccination in Bandar Lampung
Abstrak
Introduction : At the end of 2019, the world was attacked by Covid-19 disease or the Corona virus. Efforts are being made to cure the world from Covid-19, one of which is vaccination. The reality that is happening now, the Covid-19 vaccination is still a procontra among the public. Nursing Academy students as part of the community also have different perceptions of receiving the Covid-19 vaccination. This study aims to determine the perception of Nursing Academy students about the Covid-19 vaccination.
Methods : The research design used in this study is descriptive research with cross sectional method. The sampling technique uses a simple random sampling method, with a total of 90 respondents who are students of the Nursing Academy in Bandar Lampung. The instrument used was an opended question type Likert scale questionnaire that was given directly to respondents in Oktober 2021.
Result : The results of the study found that most respondents (84%) had a positive perception of the Covid-19 vaccination.
Conclusion : This study is that the perception of Nursing Academy students in Bandar Lampung city toward the Covid-19 vaccination shows that the majority of respondents have a positive perception of the Covid-19 vaccination.
Recommendation : this research is that positive students perception can become facilitators of delivering good and correct information about Covid-19 vaccination to the public.
