Fairytale Writing Learning in Elementary School In The Digital Literacy Era

Abstrak

This study aims to describe fairytale writing learning in elementary schools in the era of digital literacy. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques and tools used were observation and interviews. The results showed that fairytale writing learning in elementary schools in the digital era have three stages, including pre-writing, writing, and post-writing stages. The pre-writing stage includes the self-preparation stage, gathering information by stimulating students. The writing stage includes collecting information through videos that are played via youtube links which are presented through the stages of contemplation, deposition of ideas, maturation of ideas, details of ideas, and writing while the post-writing stage is the stage to determine students' understanding of the fairytale that have been written. Learning to write fairytale in elementary schools is still teacher-centered. Learning to write fairytale still does not involve students actively and creatively. Therefore, learning to write fairytale in elementary schools in the digital era provides a solution for the stages of learning to write fairytale carried out in elementary schools. These three stages of writing learning make active, creative, and innovative. Further research is expected to be able to develop a learning model for writing fairytales.
