Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to determine the process of preparing a LearningImplementation Plan (RPP) as one of the steps in preparing classroom learning for mentallyretarded children at Pelita Kasih Special School. This study used the descriptive qualitativmethod. Data were obtained by conducting in-depth observations and interviews witinformants, namely teachers at Pelita Kasih Special School. The results of this study indicatthat the preparation of lesson plans (RPP) is very important for teachers to increase theffectiveness of learning to students and make teaching and learning activities moresystematic. It is hoped that in making lesson plans more attention to the ability of eachindividual so that learning materials are easier to accept by students. And more varied learningmethods so that later students don't feel bored.
